We can only accept new patients who live in the practice area, this includes Blyth and Seaton Sluice. Acceptance on to the list is as at the discretion of the Doctor.
If you are on regular medication, please make sure you have 1 month supply from your previous GP Practice.
Please be aware;
Marine Medical Group will NOT routinely prescribe:
- Benzodiazepines
- Gabapentin
- Pregabalin
- Zopiclone
This is our practice policy.
If you are on these medications we will gradually reduce them and stop. Lost scripts will not be re-issued. If you wish to discuss this make a routine appointment with your GP once registered.
There are a number of reasons why you may not be able to register with your chosen GP, for example you may live too far away. If this is the case simply choose another GP in your local area.
Please note that your medical records may take several weeks to arrive at the Practice.
