Would you be interested in becoming a Vaccination Site Support Volunteer?
Marine Medical Group are looking for anyone who would like to assist in our Covid clinics.
In this role as a volunteer, you will assist staff in ensuring that there remains a seamless flow of patients through the vaccination hub, including offering support to patients before and after vaccinations.
Responsibilities of the Role:
- Meeting and greeting patients arriving at the vaccination centre and ensuring that all patients are supported in a respectful and a compassionate manner
- Helping patients to navigate their way throughout vaccination centre post-vaccine
- Marshalling any queues that may build, and managing the flow of patients in pre and post-vaccination area
- Recognise and respond to patient’s needs. This may include supporting people with impairments.
