Mental Wellbeing

Your mental health is very important to us and we are keen to support you with this.

Approximately 1 in 4 people in the UK will experience a mental health problem each year.

In England, 1 in 6 people report experiencing a common mental health problem (such as anxiety and depression) in any given week.

Mental health problems are very treatable and the clinical team at Marine Medical Group are here to support you through this and help you develop a mental wellbeing action plan. This will involve measures to help you relax, improve your sleep, help with lifestyle changes, put you in contact with the right support services and consideration of medication for your mood.

If you are experiencing a crisis with your mental health and you are at risk of self harming or suicide. It is vital you contact us straight away. There is also ‘all ages’ 24/7 emergency mental health support through your local CRISIS team 03031231146 or through Samaritans 116 123

There are many different ways you can access support for your mental health. Please look at our resource links below which highlight the different options for your mental wellbeing. Your doctor may signpost a service from this page to you.
